01 : Arrive at Srinagar
Arrive Srinagar by morning flight. Srinagar the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir state on the banks
of river Jehlum. Lakes and gardens are the charm of Srinagar city with
the back drop of Hariparbat , Shankaracharya hill & Zabarvan ranges. On arrival transfer to hotel.
Later in the after noon enjoy a Shikara ride (A boat well decorated to the mood) on Dal lake
visiting.

02 : Drive Srinagar / Gulmarg /
Srinagar
Full day excursion to Gulmarg the Meadow of Flowers. One of the most silent vallies in Kashmir. Very
popular for its snow fall in the winter and a popular skiing destination.
It is a smooth drive till Tangmarg 15 km short of Gulmarg when the Zig Zag route starts through the
forest of pine tress. One of the most spectacular and pollution free drives. Gulmarg has one of the
finest high altitude Golf courses of the world. Gulmarg is incomplete without a horse ride ane newly
introduced Gandola lift which takes you 5 km to Kong Dori & Affarvat hills. After a days excursion
around Gulmarg drive back to Srinagar.

03 : Drive Srinagar / Pahalgam /
Srinagar
After breakfast visit Pahalgam. One of the most panoramic meadows of Kashmir blessed with the
enchanting Lidder River crossing through the meadow. It is a 3 hours
spectacular drive from Srinagar to Pahalgam crossing though the Saffron fields at Pampore. Pampore
is the only place blessed with the cultivation of Saffron in whole India. Also famous for the
romantic episode of most popular king Baadshah & Habakhatoon a local farmers daughter. Further,
ahead are Avantipura ruins the former capital of Kashmir under king Avantipuram. It is a beautiful
drive through villages & farm land and will pass along the river Jehlum at certain points till
you reach Martand natural springs. The crystal clear water of these springs has medicinal properties
and home to only Sun temple on the top of hill in the valley.

04 : Drive Srinagar / Sonmarg
After breakfast proceed to Sonmarg via Kangan famous for trout fish. Sonmarg the meadow of Gold is
one of the finest locations on the banks of river Sindh with the back drop of Zojila hill. It is an
important gateway to Shree Amarnath Ji Yatra & Kargil via world second largest place Drass.
Sonamarg is famous for its glaciers and river Sindh. Did you know the art of navigation was born in
the river Sindh 5000 years ago. The very word navigation is derived from the Sanskrit word
NAVGATIH.

05 : Sonamarg / Kargil
Today after breakfast start your trip to Kargil enroute Drass village the worlds IInd coldest place
and ascent gradually to the Zojila pass till you reach Kargil the gateway to
Zanaskar Himalayan ranges. Kargil was once at the cross roads of a network of trade routes that led
to kashmir, Baltistan, Afghanistan, Central Asia and Tibet and an air of romance still lingers
around its narrow cobbled streets and bazaars spilling over with locally crafted curios. The town
retains its conservative Balti Shia Muslim culture and has two fine mosques built in the Turkish
style On arrival check in at hotel. Your cars accompanying from Kashmir will drop you here and
drivers from Ladakh will meet you at this hotel for further tour.

06 : Kargil / Alchi
Today drive further toward Leh town on Srinagar / Leh national highway to reach Alchi . Alchi no
longer an active religious centre, is among Ladakh’s most beautiful monasteries. Over a thousand
years old, its wall paintings like those of Tabo in Spiti are reminiscent of the Ajanta style of
painting. The only monastry on a flat ground in Ladakh. On arrival check in at Guest house / camp.
Later explore the area and Budhism in the monastry.

07 : Alchi / Leh
Today drive to Leh the capital town of Ladakh region. Enroute visit Spituk monastry which is just
5km short of Leh. Leh is breathtaking. Towering over the city is the tall nine storeyed palace built
by Ladakh’s ruler Sengge Namgyal in the early 17th century. It is said to have served as the model
for the Potala palace in Lhasa. Another palace in Lhasa. Another palace built by King Tashi Namgyal
in the 16th century stands above it on the Namgyal Tsemo peak. Down below, the town is a maze of
little box like buildings bristling with brushwood stored on the roof for winter, set in an oasis of
green fields. In the evening visit the bustling Leh bazaar.

08 : Leh
Today visit one of the oldest palace Shey palace built in 1645 as a summer residence for the kings
of Ladakh. Also, visit Thiksey the most picturesquely situated of all the
monastries, perched high on a hill overlooking the Indus. Later visit Hemis monastry.

09 : Leh / Nubra
Once the undiscovered and restricted valley of Ladakh region has now been opened for tourists and is
a beautifull valley to be explored. It is a nice adventurous drive along the old silk route and
across one of the worlds highest motorable pass Khardungla.
On arrival check in at Guest house / camp. Stay overnight. ( The road to
Khardungla remains close on Mondays )
10 : Nubra
Today explore this beautiful valley and enjoy the gentler climate which makes it rich for farming
and allows to grow crops , fruits & nuts. The famous monasteries to be visited are at samstanling,
Summur & Diskit. It was once used to transport Chinese goods on the Camel carvans for exchanging
with Indian produce. An camel ride on the Bactrian camels is a fun on the dunes.

11 : Nubra / Leh
Today drive back to Leh.

12 : Leh / Pangong / Leh
A full day trip to Pangong lake. The high altitude largest salt lake nearly 175 km long with only
25% in India and rest in China. You have to cross the Worlds third highest pass. Later drive back to
Leh.

13 : Leh / Delhi
Today transfer to airport for your flight to Delhi.
